LET'S WELCOME LOUIE - SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE
Wentworth. NH - As many of you know we have named our digital mascot. Over 100 names were sent to us, and many had the tie in with Louie. So, we went with that to make it quick and easy. Plus, my dad's best friend was Big Lou. My dad and Big Lou were two great funny guys who taught me that humor is the best way to enjoy life. You may have seen more of an active social media presence on our pages lately as we got someone to help us, now I have a " Social Worker". We are going to try and post funny generic stuff to make you smile a little. Please engage with the post in a good way when you can. We noted on one of our website news posts about the Racing Hearts Ron-Com. It is a way to engage you folks with one of our track favorites Big T, again it's in fun and Big T is onboard with us. He actually enjoys it and laughs along. That is what you call a good guy. We have met some really nice people over the last four seasons at the track. So maybe Louie can keep the smiles coming. Our marketing partners are enjoying both Louie and Racing Hearts.
Also, our social worked created Dirtworm Dan on Groundhog Day with a funny post that so many like and laughed. Even Dan laughed at stuff we showed him. Some even wanted DD merch, so we got it. T-shirt's, coffee mugs, and decals. Which reminds me... Did you see the Dirtworm Dan Stuffy on the Racing Hearts carnival scene??? If not go have a laugh on our Facebook page.
There is a great team of people at MyRacePass who designed a great platform and developed user-friendly websites for many tracks across the country. That is why you see so many switching to them and even saving money when doing so. Everyone knows I am not a writer or journalist by any means or even tech savvy. We have always had a website capable of doing more than we used it for. We gave up on posting points because of all the drama it causes at the track during the season. If our website is connected to MRP live (which we have) you could see the results and such shortly after a race is posted OFFICIAL. Just needs to be connected to our MyLaps scoring system. Now that we have a great scorer (Sam) running the MyLaps system we may use that going forward this season to see how it all works out. The one issue we had was wi-fi or a good steady cell signal. Now that we work with our new partner from mid-summer 2025 NH Broadband we hope to have all that up and running. Unfortunately we will not be able to have a public wi-fi right away. We need everything we got to make it all work. Some carriers have a good signal at the track, others not so much. Another thing we have asked our racers is to register online on our website. This way here we have all your driver information in our system, including sponsors, car number, and much more. Registration at Legion is FREE right now. We could charge but we feel with the price of everything going up and up we will try to save teams money. It is a way of giving back really. We may charge for anyone for who registers after April 15th. That is to be determined soon. So, if you know a racer that wants to race at Legion have them reach out to us with questions.
Last week we posted about sponsorships for trophies at each event. All division will get 1st,2nd,3rd, place trophies. So, it is a low-cost way to get a small local business involved. We set a great price per event, and they sold out in just under two days. We have had some more businesses reach out to us and we are going to work on starting a weekly contingency program with the small business community to make racing fun and affordable. This program is still being worked out to fit our Friday night Fun and Affordable type of racing. Again, if you or someone wants to be involved in this please email the track on the contact page on here or DM us a message. This can be a business, racer, or race fan. Reach out for details coming up very soon.
A meeting is being discussed to answer any questions in a town hall type meeting setting where anyone can ask questions, and we will try to answer or get an answer for you. We just need to find a place to hold it and a date at this time. Maybe our social worker can figure something out. Street Stock rules have been posted; Pro 4 rules are up for maybe a couple small changes.
