RACER SUPPORT PROGRAM

Wentworth NH - This is something I have been wanting to do for a while, finding the right way to do it has been tricky. I have talked with friends who operate tracks in other parts of the country to see different ways to do help giveback.

Legion Speedway is going to start a new initiative for the 2026 race season. The "RACER SUPPORT PROGRAM" will be designed too directly benefit racers across all divisions while opening the doors for a business of any size to get involved. Even race fans can get involved if they wish.

Unlike traditional sponsorships models that focus on individual drivers or just the racetrack itself, this project allows local businesses, and other supporters to contribute to an entire race division. Each class will have its own dedicated support fund, with 100% of contributions staying with that division.

These funds will be used throughout the season to provide Legion Speedway racers with bonuses, including weekly prizes such as gas cards, restaurant gift cards, other gift cards, and more, as well a potential end of season support based on participation.

Our drivers and teams that have supported us have become friends and each class is a group of racers wanting to have a little FUN and AFFORDABLE weekly or biweekly racing together. We want to create something that brings each class together while making it affordable for a business to be part of it, whether that's for $25 or $250 or whatever works for someone like us looking to give back.

This is designed to encourage community involvement at every level. A small business or race fan can contribute in a way that fits their budget, while a larger business may want to sponsor a division for the entire season.

Our divisions are:
Granite State Micro Sprints
Non Wing Sprint Cars
Street Stocks
Modifieds
Pro 4 Stocks
FWD Stocks

Each division will feature:
1. A dedicated support fund to be used only within that class
2. Weekly bonus given out to drivers
3. Recognition on tracks social media

Both local and regional businesses, race fans, and all supporters are encouraged to help grow the program.

For more information, please email the track or reach out with a message.

We know that the price of everything just keeps going up and it is no different for us. Just as the snow melts and we need to get our work done for the racers to have fun, the diesel fuel price is about $6.00 a gallon. Short track racing will feel this economic crunch this time in my opinion after talking with some in the industry. So, we just work harder for you all.

Thank you, and feel free to share this news with your friends and others you may know who like local dirt track racing.
