Mud Season is here
Wentworth NH - Well let's hope the snow is gone and the heavy rains hold off until at least September. So it's been a little bit since I have posted here on the website. Just going to give you a little bit of stuff I have been working on.
One thing I would like to say is I am working on a project to hopefully get done and continue throughout the season will be adding a Hometown Hero type sign display featuring some of the past racers of the track from its hay day. If you have any information or pictures you could submit please email me here on the contact page.
Legion Speedway will have a new Victory Lane sponsorship from High Performance Lubricants which has some great racing lubricants, oils, gear oil, cleaning products used by some very great race teams in many series of racing. We hopefully will announce a local New England dealer to get all your products at. Legion Speedway will be giving away product and selling at a great rate if your needing to upgrade your race oil. High Performance Lubricants started it's racing oil with Sammy Swindell many years ago, they support many teams on both the World of Outlaws and High Limit Sprint car series, Lucas Oil Late Model series, UUSAC and also Erica Enders and other in NHRA. Also they support Bertrand Motorsports which are the 2 time and defending Chili Bowl Champions with Logan Seavy in the Kevin Swindell car.
Speaking of Kevin, We are going to be the only New England retailer for the Victory Fuel drink developed by Kevin and his wife Jo. They are very proud to have come up with a kid friendly drink, for everyone to enjoy.
We again have teamed up with Huffy bicycles to give away bike for kids again in 2024. When Huffy saw what Legion Speedway was doing for family fun and kids at racetracks we were chosen to represent the companies new E-bike platform with the new BUZZ bikes. Legion Speedway will have a BUZZ bike at the track for you to look at and possibly try (insurance). This bike is pretty cool and we will be taking it to different places to post on social media. Very cool for us to be a partner of this program, because they believe in what we are doing.
Also we have a new local partner in READY EQUIPMENT RENTALS, located in Meredith NH. They have every piece of new equipment for you to tackle your home projects. Sales, rentals, service. reach out to them for anything you need.
Irwin Automotive Group has partnered with us as well, hopefully this is something we can grow into something fun.
Peanuts Auto of Canaan, NH has partnered with us for some sponsorship things with the sportsman modified division.
If you know anyone wanting to sponsor a division or anything else , please reach out. every little bit helps us with our racer giveback programs.
We will try and update our partners more as the next few weeks go by. The track will be the starting point for the " 603 Scavenger Hunt " on Saturday May 18th. This event is put on by the Central New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce. Anyone can enter. Each team will be hunting while following the hints on a map driving around the Plymouth area. Each team will start with a lap around Legion Speedway to start the clock on there hunt. Many prizes and such available. Go check out centralnh.org for more details. Great way to have some family fun.
